VT Law requires all dogs 6 months and older to be licensed with the town clerk. Owners must present a current rabies certificate to the town clerk by April 1st of each year. If the dog is spayed or neutered the certificate must also be presented to pay the reduced fee. The cost is $11.00 for each spayed/neutered dog and $15.00 for dogs not spayed or neutered.
