BURN BAN NOTICE
I am writing to inform the town that starting Monday 3/23/2020 we will be under a burn ban until further notice. We are currently in a moderate fire danger for our area, which means there is a chance a fire could spread easily. I have talked this over with Dan Perry, our Fire Chief and we have come to terms that this could put people in large unwanted groups and could possibly increase the need for mutual aid in a situation that could have been prevented.
I appreciate everyone’s understanding and respect as this wasn’t an easy call to make, however as always the main goal is to keep our friends and neighbors as safe as possible!
